With Heart On in their pockets, Eagles Of Death Metal just kicked off a whirlwind tour taking them to 42 venues in nearly half as many countries. The Los Angeles show is always a special EODM stop though, that's where you can count on member-in-vision but not-on-the-road Josh Homme to add some muscle to their cheeky crotch rock. Homme made his forecasted appearance -- singing on four songs ("Secret Plans," "Already Died," "Wanna Be In L.A.," and "Boys Bad News"), playing drums on three more -- and also Jesse Hughes offered the formula for every Eagles Of Death Metal ever: "Base it on 'Brown Sugar.'" Which they then covered. Catching them on this tour shouldn't be hard if you live in the States or in Europe; click on for the dates and last night's setlist, and check the spread of shots by photographer Andrew Youssef.
