Jeff Bridges has provided an update on his health more than three years after revealing his cancer diagnosis.

The actor first opened up about his lymphoma diagnosis on X (formerly Twitter) in October 2020. In 2021, Bridges shared that the tumour had “drastically shrunk” and that he was in remission.
Now, the Oscar-winning actor has given an update on his improved health, sharing that he doesn’t dwell on the past.
“My health is great,” the actor told Page Six (via People) at the Chaplin Award Gala on Monday (April 29), where he was an honouree.
“It’s such a learning experience being sick like that,” he added. “It’s amazing the way the mind can forget all that stuff. I’m not thinking too much about the past.”
He provided the significant update about his tumour shrinking on his website in September 2021.
The Big Lebowski Star wrote at the time: “The 9″ x 12” mass has shrunk down to the size of a marble.”

He continued: “While I had moments of tremendous pain (screaming singing, a sort of moaning song all through the night) getting close to the Pearly Gates, all in all, I felt happy and joyous most of the time.”

In 2022, the True Grit star spoke about catching Covid-19 while he was receiving chemotherapy for his condition.
“I had no defenses. That’s what chemo does – it strips you of all your immune system. I had nothing to fight it,” he told People. “COVID made my cancer look like nothing.”
“I was pretty close to dying,” he continued. “The doctors kept telling me, ‘Jeff, you’ve got to fight. You’re not fighting.’ I was in surrender mode. I was ready to go. I was dancing with my mortality,” he added, spending almost five months in hospital.”
