Ed Sheeran announces first leg of 2022 UK and European ‘+ – = ÷ x’ stadium tour

Including a trio of shows at London's Wembley Stadium

Ed Sheeran has announced details of the first leg of his 2022 UK and European ‘+ – = ÷ x’ stadium tour.

The singer/songwriter will tour next year in support of his upcoming album ‘=’, which is set for release on October 29 via Asylum/Atlantic.

Sheeran’s ‘+ – = ÷ x Tour’ – pronounced ‘The Mathematics Tour’ – will include UK gigs in Belfast, Cardiff, Sunderland, Manchester and Glasgow.

He’ll also play a trio of dates at Wembley Stadium in London from June 29 to July 1, 2022, with each show on the tour set to feature staging in the round – meaning Sheeran will be surrounded by the audience every night.

Sheeran’s latest single’ Shivers’, which is set to feature on ‘=’, was released last week (September 10) and is set to replace his previous single ‘Bad Habits’ at the top of the UK singles chart later today (September 17).
