Led Zeppelin IV is 50 years old. Celebrate its birthday by listening to the Led Zep IV episode of Classic Rock's podcast The 20 Million Club.

Hosted by British broadcasting legend Nicky Horne, The 20 Million Club also features guests appearances from the Classic Rock team, with every episode exploring one of the biggest-selling rock albums of all time.

Released in November 1971, IV was housed in an anonymous sleeve, with no band name and no album title. The record company delayed release for month, fearing that it was commercial suicide. The idiots.

It became the band's best-selling album. But why?

Who is the old man on the album cover? Who's the other guy on the inner sleeve? We talk 'superhype', Jimmy Page's fascination with black magic, the lyrical "hippy-Hobbity shit", the mysteries of the sleeve art, the musical influences and more. Is it the best Led Zeppelin album? What's the worst song on it? Do big-legged women have souls? Listen for the answers to all these mysteries and more.

The 20 Million Club can be listened to right now on Apple Podcasts and Spotify or anywhere you get podcasts. There will be five more episodes to come in this season. Subscribe to never miss an episode and please leave a review.
