Logic and Eminem have announced the release of a new joint track, called ‘Homicide’.

The Maryland rapper recently supported Marshall Mathers at his show in Hawaii in February, but has otherwise not collaborated with him before.
Now, Logic has announced the third single from his forthcoming new album, ‘Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind’, will feature Eminem. Sharing the artwork, which features a disembodied eyeball, on Twitter, the star captioned the post: “Homicide ft. @eminem. Available everywhere Friday.”

After the Hawaii show, Logic shared a photo of himself with Mathers on his Instagram page. “It was incredible really sitting and just hanging with a man I’ve studied my whole life,” he wrote. “And I learned him and his homies are just like me and mine. All we talk about is rap haha it’s the best! Thanks Em! For all the Love #RapkinNaNapkin.”
The track isn’t Logic’s first collaboration of 2019. In March, he teamed up with Mac DeMarco to produce the soundtrack to his debut novel Supermarket. Published under the rapper’s real name, Bobby Hall, the book tells the tale of jaded supermarket worker Flynn who discovers a crime scene when he turns up to work at his local grocery store one morning.

DeMarco produced two songs on the accompanying soundtrack – ‘Probably Gonna Rock Your World’ and ‘Vacation From Myself’.
Meanwhile, Justin Bieber hit out at Eminem earlier today (May 1) for criticising rap’s new generation on ‘The Ringer’. The track, which featured on last year’s ‘Kamikaze’, saw the Detroit rapper take aim at stars including Vince Staples, 21 Savage, Machine Gun Kelly, and Iggy Azalea.
“I just like Em’s flow but don’t like that he’s dissing new rappers,” Bieber wrote. “I like the new generation of rap. He just doesn’t understand it.”
