One OK Rock have confirmed that they recently went into the studio with Ed Sheeran.
The Tokyo band have this month been supporting Sheeran on the Asian leg of his ‘DIVIDE’ tour, with the final date of the tour at Jakarta’s Gelora Bung Karno Stadium set to take place on May 3.
After playing in Bangkok last night (April 28), the two acts hit the studio to seemingly work on a future collaboration. Writing on Instagram, One OK Rock frontman Taka remarked: “We had a studio session with Ed !!! In Thailand ?? It was an amazing time!!!! He’s just full of talent.” You can see an image from the studio session below.

One OK Rock are heading to the UK early next month for a pair of dates on their European tour – you can find out more about their tour schedule here.
Sheeran’s 2019 world tour, meanwhile, will head to Europe next month, and will eventually round off in August with six outdoor UK dates: two in Leeds’ Roundhay Park, and four at Ipswich’s Chantry Park. See Sheeran’s UK tour schedule for this year below.
