Mick Jagger has made his first public appearance since undergoing heart surgery earlier this month.
The Rolling Stones frontman, 75, underwent heart valve replacement surgery at New York’s Presbyterian Hospital, forcing the legendary band to postpone a number of live dates.

After thanking fans for their messages of support following the procedure, Jagger shared an image of himself back on his feet earlier this month. “A walk in the park,” he captioned the photo.
Now, it has been reported that the rocker recently attended the premiere of his partner Melanie Hamrick’s new ballet in New York.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jagger remained backstage for the opening night (April 18) of Porte Rouge – which includes choreographed dance routines to Stones classics such as ‘Sympathy for the Devil’ and ‘Paint It Black’.
Although he wasn’t spotted by attendees, the musician made his presence known by sharing a message over the PA. “Mick Jagger here. Hope you enjoy this wonderful new ballet and the music,” he told the audience.

An insider said that the frontman stayed out of view as he “didn’t quite look like Mick Jagger” following his recent operation. Backstage sources added that he stayed for the entire show and congratulated dancers.
Following Mick Jagger’s successful heart procedure, his younger brother Chris revealed that the condition was spotted during a routine check-up. “It just showed up on a scan so it could happen to anybody, you know,” he said.
