Footage has emerged of Bob Dylan calling out fans for taking photos at a recent live show. See it below.
During a performance in Vienna this week, the rock icon took a bit of a tumble on stage. After gathering himself, he then took to the mic to tell the crowd: “Take pictures or don’t take pictures. We can either play or we can pose. Okay,”
He then stood still for 10 seconds to mockingly “pose”, before returning to the piano to perform ‘It Takes A Lot To Laugh, It Takes A Train To Cry’.

This isn’t the first time that Dylan has taken issue with fan photography at gigs. As Rolling Stone reports, a New York show last year had ushers shining flashlights at anyone they spotted using a phone, with repeat offenders threatened with being removed from the show.

Dylan’s European tour continues, including a headline performance at Roskilde Festival in June as well as performing at London’s Hyde Park with Neil Young in July.
Meanwhile, it was also recently announced that Dylan would be setting up his own music venue and distillery in Nashville.

Heaven’s Door Distillery And Center For The Arts will open in the autumn of 2020 and will be located at 616 5th Avenue in downtown Nashville. According to the Associated Press, it will feature a “whisky library”, restaurant, and 360-capacity performance space.
Dylan’s paintings and metalwork sculptures will also be on display at the new venue, which was announced to mark the 50th anniversary of the musician’s ninth album, ‘Nashville Skyline’.
