Lizzo will release her new album this Friday

Lizzo has released a bright new video for ‘Juice’ and it features stars of Ru Paul’s Drag Race.

The second video for the song comes ahead of the release of Lizzo’s highly anticipated new album, ‘Cuz I Love You’, which drops this Friday (April 19).

The record will be her first release on a major label and follows 2013’s ‘Lizzobangers’ and 2015’s ‘Big Grrrl Small World’.

‘Cuz I Love You’ will feature the recent single ‘Tempo’, which saw the star team up with Missy Elliott. “I was like, ‘I hope she blesses me with a verse,’” Lizzo told Beats 1 of when she sent the iconic rapper the completed instrumental. “Like, you never know, you send it to your idols, you never know if they gonna send it back.”

Last month, Lizzo covered Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s Oscar-winning duet, ‘Shallow’.

The track appeared on the soundtrack for the 2018 remake of A Star Is Born and was named Best Original Song at the 2019 movie awards ceremony. The song was written by Gaga, Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt, and Anthony Rossomando.

In February, the Minneapolis rapper covered another track of Ronson’s when she tackled his collaboration with Miley Cyrus, ‘Nothing Breaks Like A Heart’.

Meanwhile, on the BRIT Awards red carpet earlier this year, Lizzo confirmed to NME that she will play this year’s Glastonbury festival. Discussing her plans for 2019, she said: “I just have a shit tonne of shows and festivals. I’m coming back to London and Manchester. I’m doing Lovebox Festival and Glastonbury but I don’t think that’s announced so, whatever – you just got the scoop, bitch.”
