Listen to ‘I Thought You Were Dead’, the new song from Morrissey

The track was released for Record Store Day

Morrissey has shared ‘I Thought You Were Dead’, a new track taken from a 7″ record released just for Record Store Day.

On Saturday, vinyl lovers were able to get their hands on a 7″ from the former Smiths frontman which featured ‘Lover-To-Be’ as it’s A-Side. While fans will be familiar with the track after it featured on the deluxe edition of 2017’s ‘Low In High School’, the B-Side offers the new unreleased song – which has since made its way to YouTube. Listen to it in full below.

The release came only hours before Morrissey announced that he has been forced to reschedule two Canadian tour dates after a ‘medical emergency’ caused while travelling.
