You might notice upon watching the GOT clip that there’s a new character introduced who looks awfully familiar. No, your eyes are not deceiving you, that’s Bellamy himself in the Game of Thrones teaser.

Ignoring the fact that his ‘cameo’ sees him introduced with a 180 degree spin that mirrors something straight out of a 90s game show, the Muse frontman’s glove, that looks like it’s been put together using Swarovski glass and superglue, is what gives away the fact that he is in fact superimposed into the shot. Who’d have guessed, right?

Muse have been performing Bellamy’s new track on their recent tour. At recent dates in support of their 2018 album ‘Simulation Theory‘, the band have been playing the cinematic number as an interlude.

‘For The Throne’ will be released on April 26 on 11 different vinyl configurations, with nine cover variants for each of the show’s house crests, one colour variant with fire and ice coloured vinyl, and one standard. Pre-order it here.

Ahead of their return to the UK this summer, Muse recently admitted that they “may have gone too far” with the spectacle of their current stage show – and question where they could possibly go from here.

“That’s the thing — it’s becoming unsustainable,” said drummer Dom Howard. “This is very much about the spectacle, this tour, but the antithesis would be to do something that’s purely about the music and nothing else, which is most likely what we’ll do in the future. At this stage, I don’t know.

“It’s either back down to Earth or straight into space.”

The band recently announced that Rage Against The Machine and Audioslave legend Tom Morello would be supporting them on their upcoming UK tour dates.

Muse’s 2019 UK ‘Simulation Theory’ tour dates are:

Saturday June 1, 2019 – LONDON Stadium Olympic Park
Wednesday June 5, 2019 – BRISTOL Ashton Gate Stadium
Saturday June 8, 2019 – MANCHESTER Manchester Etihad Stadium

Game Of Thrones returns for a final run of six episodes on Sunday (April 14).
