Robert Pattinson has revealed how he was locked in a room to read the script for Christopher Nolan’s next movie.
The Twilight star has been cast in the acclaimed director’s next film alongside Elizabeth Debicki and John David Washington.
But it’s no surprise that the project is currently shrouded in mystery – and it seems like Nolan is intent on keeping things that way.
Revealing the spoiler-proof security measures, Robert told USA Today: “I got locked in a room to read the script – I don’t have it myself.”
However, it seems like it’ll be worth the wait, with Pattinson describing the script as “unreal”.
Pattinson’s collaboration with Nolan marks their first time working together, and a return to mainstream films after opting to work with experimental directors such as David Cronenberg.

“I’ve been a little wary of doing big movies for years and years, but there’s just something about Chris Nolan’s stuff,” he explained.
“He seems like the only director now who can do what is essentially a very personal, independent movie that has huge scale.”
The unnamed project follows 2017’s Dunkirk – which NME gave the film a five-star review on release.
“As with Nolan’s previous classics (2008’s The Dark Knight, 2010’s Inception), this is a thrill-packed, nail-biting watch,” our review stated.
“Dialogue is used sparingly. Instead, its focus is on the frail, often speechless tension as soldiers fight for their lives. It’s a visual experience unlike any other.”
Late last year, Nolan was also awarded a CBE for his contributions to film.
