Taking place at the Brooklyn Steel venue in New York City, the two-day bill will also welcome Mercury Rev, The Messthetics, and US indie duo Wye Oak – who are all scheduled to play on the first day (May 17).

The following evening will see a headline performance from Garbage, supported by Phoebe Bridgers, and a DJ set from LCD Soundsystem’s Nancy Whang.

A special screening of Lynch’s cryptic mystery movie Mulholland Drive is set to take place the same night, along with a talk from the acclaimed filmmaker himself and actor Justin Theroux. Lynch will speak on the evening via Skype.

Proceeds from the event will go to the David Lynch Foundation’s work to provide transcendental meditation to people suffering from post-traumatic stress.

Meanwhile, a class taught by David Lynch about ‘Creativity and Film’ is now available to take online. The Twin Peaks co-creator has teamed up with MasterClass Online Classes to offer the new tutorial.
