Lady Gaga has mastered the art of killing two birds with one stone after shutting down pregnancy rumours and confirming a new album all at once.
The ‘Shallow’ singer was the subject of scurrilous pregnancy rumours in recent weeks – with US magazine Star speculating if she was carrying the child of ex-fiancee Christian Carino or her A Star Is Born co-star Bradley Cooper.
Now, the singer has shut down the rumours once and for all.
“Rumors I’m pregnant? Yeah, I’m pregnant with #LG6,” wrote Gaga on Twitter.

While it’s unclear whether the album could arrive anytime soon, it’s confirmation that Gaga is working on the follow-up to 2016’s ‘Joanne.’
One excited fan replied: “GIVE BIRTH NOW!”

The confirmation of new music comes after Gaga won the Best Original Song Oscar for ‘Shallow’ – the standout song from ‘A Star Is Born.’
Accepting the award, the singer said: “If you are at home and you’re sitting on your couch and you are watching this right now, all I have to say is that this is hard work,” she said. “I worked hard for a long time and it’s not about winning. What it’s about is not giving up.
“If you have a dream, fight for it. If there’s a discipline for passion and it’s not about how many times you get rejected or you fall down or you’re beaten up. It’s about how many times you keep on going and are brave.”
