The Prodigy have thanked fans for their outpouring of support after the death of Keith Flint.
Tributes are continuing to pour in from fans and famous faces alike, after the iconic frontman was found dead at his home on Monday (March 4). His bandmate Liam Howlett later confirmed that Flint had taken his own life.
“Thank you people for all the tributes, they have really touched us and kept us going this week,” the band wrote on their official Instagram account.
The group also shared an image of a graffiti mural that showed Flint’s face alongside the word ‘Poison’ – referencing their hugely popular song.
“This one is @ellwoodleo, brick lane London Town Massive respect Liam H #theprodigy,” they added.
It comes after Prodigy fans launched a campaign to get Firestarter to number one in the UK charts to “make sure the fire continues”.
Reacting to the loss earlier this week, The Prodigy’s band manager also remembered Flint as “witty, charming, pensive and mercurial.
“Whilst there was much complexity to the man, an easier and simpler memory is of Keef enjoying life and shining brightly – onstage or off,” he added.
Away from music, Flint was also an ardent motorcycle enthusiast – with his MotoGP teammates describing him as “the coolest man on earth.”
