Listen to two new songs from Vampire Weekend as they announce small London shows

"It’s about to get pretty busy," the band told fans last week

Vampire Weekend have released two new songs and announced the release date for their new album as well as a trio of London shows.

The band shared the first two tracks from the band’s upcoming fourth album ‘Father Of The Bride’ in January. At the time, they promised a regular release of singles leading up to the record.

Now, the four-piece have shared ‘Sunflower’, which features The Internet’s Steve Lacy, and ‘Big Blue’. The band have confirmed ‘Big Blue’ was one of the tracks played at a Lollapalooza after party in August. Listen to both below.

Last week, the band revealed they had planned to share the songs before the end of February, but had been “convinced by intelligent people to wait a week to get some ducks in a row.”

‘Father Of The Bride’ has also been given a release date of May 3. UK fans will have the first opportunities to hear tracks from the record live later this month when the band play three small shows in London.
