David Beckham’s fashion brand Kent & Curwen have unveiled their collaboration with The Stone Roses.

The Capsule Collection collaboration was first announced last year, but has now been unveiled online via the below video and the label’s website. The new range features the band’s John Squire-designed iconic artwork on a range of t-shirts, hats and parkas to “evokes the indie attitude of the 90’s era in a modern contemporary wardrobe”.

“Kent & Curwen Creative Director, Daniel Kearns, grew up listening to The Stone Roses,” said the brand in a statement. “For him they are a band that established the look and the sound of the 90’s.

“The music and artwork created by The Stone Roses now forms the inspiration for the Kent & Curwen Spring/Summer 2019 collection which celebrates the feeling of British summertime, iconic British music and British culture.”

Beckham has long been known as a fan of the band, after the former footballer went viral back in 2017 for his reaction when they dedicated a song to him during a show in Manchester.

This comes after the label recently unveiled their Peaky Blinders collaboration last month.

Sadly, the chances of another Stone Roses reunion seem slim.

Back in 2017, rumours began to circulate that the band’s show in Glasgow would be their last – before comments made by frontman Ian Brown during the gig seemed to confirm that they had indeed come to an end once again. Then, it emerged that ‘Second Touring Limited’ (which was set up by the band in 2015 to handle their live duties) was dissolved at the end of the year.

Meanwhile, Roses frontman Ian Brown recently released his latest solo album ‘Ripples‘.
