Watch Robyn perform a wintry version of ‘Ever Again’ on ‘Ellen’

Robyn stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres show earlier this week to perform ‘Ever Again’ in a wintry wonderland inspired set.

You can watch footage of the Swedish singer’s performance below.

‘Ever Again’ is the closing track from Robyn’s album ‘Honey’ – the record the singer released last year after an eight year hiatus.

NME said of the album in a four star review: “Whether she’s craving escape by way of the dancefloor, the white beaches of Ibiza, or a proverbial dip into the honey-pot, ‘Honey’ acknowledges that deep, throbbing pain can sit alongside escapist pleasure. From an artist who conjures up so many lofty titles – pop genius being one of them – this is a record that takes an altogether different tack to cut through to the raw, complex tangle of emotion.

Speaking to NME last year, the singer opened up about the album and said it was a way of making sense of mortality.

She said: “The more I enjoy my life, the more I’m scared to lose it… lose the people I love. The more you feel it, the more it slips out of your hands. That’s painful when you realise that’s what it’s like to be a human being. We’re limited, both physically because of our bodies, but also, the length of our lives. They’re not forever.”

Earlier this month the singer released an arty video for single ‘Send to Robin Immediately’, that saw people hugging, dancing in a forest and diving into lakes. It was released on February 15 in conjunction with the singer’s line of active wear that she launched with Björn Borg.

She said of the collection: “RBN reflects my love for street style and how it’s signalled in youth culture.

“It is inspired by my favourite garments throughout the years. I thought it would be cool to make gear that I can wear both to go out running and clubbing in.”

Meanwhile, Robyn has been confirmed for a host of festivals this summer including Primavera, Roskilde, and Mad Cool.
