Nineties legends Stereolab are heading out on tour to coincide with a new tour and major reissue campaign.

Seven of the band’s albums will be reissued, starting on May 3 with their 1993 second album ‘Transient Random Noise-Bursts With Announcements’ and the influential ‘Mars Audiac Quintet’ from the following year.

The initial reissues will be followed by an 11-date UK and Ireland tour in June, followed by Green Man festival in August. Full dates are below.

The expanded reissues will include limited editions of 500-clear vinyl copies and 250 CDs. Each will come with a hand-numbered strip from the original master-tapes of the accompanying album. These can be pre-ordered from Stereolab’s website.

Following the initial two reissues, three more albums are reissued in August. These are ‘Emperor Tomato Ketchup’, ‘Dots And Loops’ and ‘Cobra And Phases Group Play Voltage In The Milky Night’. A further two albums are reissued in November – ‘Sound-Dust’ and 2004’s ‘Margarine Eclipse’. There are two subsequent Stereolab albums, ‘Chemical Chords’ and their most recent album from 2010, ‘Not Music’.
