Uh oh

A waxwork figure of P Diddy has lost its head.

New York police say that on Saturday (February 16) someone shoved the Madame Tussauds model of the legendary rapper so forcefully that it became decapitated. Investigators are now looking for a suspect.

According to law enforcement, a man entered the museum near New York City’s Times Square at around 8.45pm and toppled the figure inside the museum’s A-List Party Room [via Stereogum].

A version of the waxwork is also on display at the London museum

The tourist attraction’s general manager Tom Middleton explained that the museum doesn’t rope off its statues so that “guests can interact respectfully” with them.

The museum said that it will attempt to repair the damage as quickly as possible.

P Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, attended the unveiling of his statue in 2009.

The ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ rapper was a recent guest on Ellen (October 26, 2018) and became the victim of a Halloween prank on the show.

DeGeneres told the rapper that she’d heard that he was afraid of clowns to which he replied: “No, impossible.”

“Why is it impossible?” DeGeneres asked, before Diddy answered, “Because I’m a black man. I have so many other things to be fearful of… a clown is not gonna scare me.” A team member dressed as IT‘s Pennywise then jumped out of the coffee table and startled the rapper.
