Watch Cardi B give Pepsi the ‘okurrr’ seal of approval in new advert

The rapper already appeared in one commercial for the soft drinks company over Super Bowl weekend

Cardi B is the star of another new Pepsi advert that asks the question, “Is Pepsi OK?”

The commercial will air during the Grammys this Sunday (February 10) and sees the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper teaching a diner full of people her now infamous catchphrase, “Okurrr.”

The star can be seen interrupting a waitress when, in response to a customer ordering a Coke, she asks, “Is Pepsi OK?” “Did you just ask if Pepsi is okurrr?!” Cardi asks. “Of course Pepsi is okurrr.” You can watch the advert below now.

It follows the rapper’s appearance in another Pepsi advert, which aired during the Super Bowl last weekend (February 3). In that ad, Cardi was joined by Steve Carell and Lil Jon.

The record-breaker is up for five awards at this year’s Grammys, including Record Of The Year for ‘I Like It’ and Album Of The Year for her major label debut ‘Invasion Of Privacy’. She will also perform at the ceremony, which takes place at Los Angeles’ Staples Center.

Meanwhile, the rapper took to social media earlier this week (February 5) to defend her right to spend her money on luxurious items.

“I hate when celebrities do something very extravagant or buy something very luxurious and there’s people in the comments like, ‘You could have donated that’, ‘Oh, we’re going backwards – you should have done this and that,’” she said in a video posted to her Twitter page. “It’s like, who are you to tell people what to do with their hard working ass money?”

Cardi will be one of the first artists to have a residency at new Las Vegas club KAOS when she performs a series of shows at the venue later this year. She is expected to play “five to six” shows at the new space, with the first scheduled for spring.
