Foals, Two Door Cinema Club and Wolf Alice lead 2019 Y Not Festival line-up

It's looking like a big one in Derbyshire this summer...

Y Not Festival have unveiled the massive line-up for their 2019 event – with Foals, Two Door Cinema Club and Elbow set to headline.

The Derbyshire festival, which will be held at Aston Hill Farm in Pikehall, is scheduled to take place from 25-28 July.

Announcing the first wave of acts this evening (February 6), Y Not have confirmed that Foals (July 28), Two Door Cinema Club (July 27), and Elbow (July 26) will top the bill this summer. There will also be performances from the likes of Wolf Alice, You Me At Six, Franz Ferdinand, IDLES, Miles Kane, White Lies, and Happy Mondays.

Elsewhere on the line-up are the rising punk band Fontaines D.C, NYC trio Sunflower Bean, and ’00s indie outfit The Pigeon Detectives. The Hunna, Kate Nash, Lucy Rose, Rat Boy, and The Subways will also take to the stage across the weekend. Check out the poster below:

“After an amazing 2018 festival, we’re so happy to have a 2019 line-up bursting at the seams,” Y Not organisers said of the first announcement. “We’ve got a huge mix of new and old faces to the Derbyshire Dales, with massive returns from classic bands such as White Lies, plus the huge welcomes to the UK’s hottest emerging stars like Idles and Mahalia. Not forgetting 3 huge headliners.”

Last year’s event was headlined by The LibertinesCatfish and The Bottlemen and Jamiroquai.

Meanwhile, headliners Foals recently made their return with ‘Exits‘ – the lead single from their upcoming dual album release for 2019.
