Foals add more shows to 2019 UK and Ireland tour

Foals have added more shows to their extensive 2019 UK tour.

The band, who return this year with two new albums ‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost’ Part 1 and 2, are set to embark on a lengthy tour in June. Now, due to phenomenal demand, they’ve added extra shows in Manchester (Wednesday 12), Birmingham (Sunday 16) and London (Saturday 22).

“The lyrical threads are through both records,” frontman Yannis Philippakis told NME about their duo of albums. “It’s not yin and yang or anything corny like that. You can also tell that it’s a band working in the same space over the same period of time.

“If you were to put it crudely, the first record is probably more keyboard-driven and has slightly more of a new wave feel to it. Then album two has more of the heavier rock frenetic energy. “
