The Specials

Past years have seen the likes of Paloma Faith, Kaiser Chiefs, The Charlatans, Rufus Wainwright, and The Lemonheads perform.

Manic Street Preachers premiered a new film about the band on YouTube earlier this month. Truth & Memory featured never-before-seen footage and was directed by the group’s long-time collaborator Kieran Evans, telling the story of their landmark 1998 album ‘This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours’.

Meanwhile, The Specials released a lyric video for their new single ’10 Commandments’ yesterday (January 24). The track features the voice of activist Saffiyah Khan who shot to online fame after confronting an EDL activist in Birmingham.

The legendary 2 Tone group will release a new album, ‘Encore’, on February 1. As well as new material, the record will feature a cover of The Equals’ ‘Black Skinned Blue-Eyed Boys’ and a version of ‘Blam Blam Fever’.
