Channel 4 will exclusively air the fourth season of Rick & Morty as part of a new deal to bring the cult show to British TV.
Although an air date for season four is yet to emerge, the previous three seasons of the acclaimed animation will be shown on E4 from the start of February.
It comes as part of a wider deal between Adult Swim and Channel 4, which will see the American network’s shows becoming available on streaming service All 4.
Other shows coming to the platform include Robot Chicken, The Eric Andre Show, The Venture Bros and Tim & Eric’s Awesome Show.
Ian Katz, Channel 4’s Director of Programmes, said: “Rick and Morty is one of the most anarchic, ingenious and original shows around and the breakthrough animated hit of recent years. I’m thrilled that it’s coming to Channel 4 and E4.”
The deal comes after Adult Swim confirmed that 70 more episodes had been commissioned in May 2018. Co-creator Justin Roiland marked the news of the commission on May 10 with this special drawing of the titular characters.

With an average of 26.1 deaths per episode, the much-loved animated show is considered the ‘deadliest’ out of any show across streaming platforms.
Between its three seasons the show has seen 808 deaths in just 31 episodes. Westworld is only just behind with 25.9 deaths per episode, while The Walking Dead has 23.2.
