Friends actors Courtney Cox and Tom Selleck – aka Monica Geller and Richard Burke – had a spontaneous catch-up in a New York bar.
The pair were spotted by Twitter user Claudia Oshry, who managed to film their seemingly accidental meeting on Wednesday (December 19). She wrote in the caption to accompany her video: “Spotted in NY: Dr. Richard Burke and Monica Geller saying hi to one another. Shook. What will Chandler say?”

A number of fans rushed to comment on the video. One fan said that she wished Monica and Richard had ended up together instead of Chandler. “I’ll probably get ugly replies. However, I wish Monica & Richard would of gotten married instead. Richard was more mature for her as a man. Monica starting acting immature when she was with Chandler. Monica deserved better & that was not Chandler. [sic]”
Cox and Selleck’s reunion follows Jennifer Aniston telling James Corden on The Late Late Show last week that only the female cast of Friends would like to do a reunion show.
She said: “Listen, the girls always say we would love to do it again, and the boys are a little less excited about it for some reason, I don’t know.”

Although Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer are yet to respond to Aniston’s comments, LeBlanc explained why he didn’t favour the show’s return earlier this year.
