This week, NME made ‘No Tears Left to Cry’ it’s Number One track of 2018, hailing its “defiant return” as “proof of music’s oft-touted healing properties and of the empowerment of dusting yourself off and starting again.”

Cyrus and Ronson later performed their new song ‘Nothing Breaks Like A Heart’, the first single off Ronson’s upcoming 2019 album (referred to as ‘The Heartbreak Era’).

The pair also performed their collaboration during last weekend’s Saturday Night Live (December 15). Later, they returned to the stage with ‘Happy Xmas (War Is Over)’ and were joined by Sean Ono Lennon on backing vocals and guitar.

Ronson recently revealed to NME that his forthcoming new solo album will feature a guest spot from Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker. “We have a song that we wrote together for my record called ‘Laurie’ that we’re working on.”
