Foals announced as second headliners for Croatia’s INmusic festival

They're off to Zagreb...

Foals have been announced as the second headliners for Croatia’s INmusic Festival 2018.

The ‘What Went Down’ band will take top billing at the festival, which takes place at Zagreb’s Lake Jarun from June 24th to June 26th 2019. It’s their second headline slot of the summer, after previously being announced for Newcastle’s This Is Tomorrow Festival.

The announcement comes a week after it was confirmed that The Cure will also head to Croatia for INmusic festival next year. The ‘Inbetween Dreams’ rockers were the first act to be announced for the event, which takes place across three islands. It’s expected that more bands will be announced in the coming weeks.

In a review of INmusic 2018, NME described it as “another killer year”.

“There was an art-pop extravaganza in Zagreb this week, as INmusic, the stellar annual festival held beside the usually quiet Lake Jarun, unleashed stunning performances from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, St. Vincent, David Byrne and many more”, our verdict said.

“Yet the shindig offered extreme heaviosity, too, with bone-crushing performances from Queens of the Stone and Alice in Chains. And the Karaoke Tent, the hidden gem of INmusic, was – as always – an absolute ball. All of this amounted to another killer year at INmusic, the place to be if you’re into weird art-pop costumes, head-banging sets and singing your heart out to ABBA at 3 o’clock in the morning.”
