Bring Me The Horizon announce line-up and details of first ever festival headline show at All Points East

Bring Me The Horizon have confirmed details of their headline show at next year’s All Points East Festival.

The Metalcore titans will play East London’s Victoria Park on 31 May 2019, backed by an impressive supporting bill that includes the likes of Run The Jewels, IDLES and Yonaka. Tickets will go on sale from 9AM this Friday (December 7) and you can buy them here.

Frontman Oli Sykes said: “We are excited to be headlining our first festival in the iconic Victoria Park. It’s a privilege to be in the company of headliners like Bon Iver and Chemical Brothers and we are hoping to blow fans away with our carefully curated day of really special artists.”

They join the likes of Bon Iver, The Chemical Brothers and Christine & The Queens, who have all been announced for the second year of the East London event.

Oli Sykes previously self confirmed the show at the band’s Alexandra Palace show last Friday (November 30).

Speaking during the encore, the frontman said: “London, you’re always amazing, but tonight was something else. We will back next year, playing a festival called All Points East.”

The Sheffield band kicked off their European tour earlier this month. On the tour’s opening night at Stuttgart’s Schleyer-Halle, the group treated the crowd to two new tracks from their upcoming album, ‘Amo’.

After beginning their set with ‘MANTRA’, the comeback single they released earlier this year, the band aired ‘Wonderful Life’ for the first time live.

All Points East was headlined in 2018 by Nick Cave & The Bad SeedsThe NationalLCD SoundsystemBjork, The xx and Catfish and the Bottlemen.

The 2019 instalment runs from May 24-June 2.
