Says singer Janet Planet of the track: “It’s time to pop Bublé’s bubble. Throw Mariah in the fire. Christmas has a new sound and it just got a whole lot more confident.

“Christmas ain’t all eggnog and tinsel. Sometimes it gets a little dirty. Sometimes Santa skips the plate of cookies and goes straight for the whiskey. So unwrap yourself some sass and see what Santa’s really been up to. You’re welcome world.”

It tops off a stellar 2018 for Confidence Man, whose debut album ‘Confident Music For Confident People‘ was one of the year’s breakout successes.

They also made their claim as the festival season’s best live band with a series of amazing live shows.

The band, made up of singers Janet Planet, Sugar Bones and two veiled instrumentalists, Clarence McGuffie and Reggie Goodchild, spoke to NME back in March.

“We aren’t within the same rules as a normal dance band because we actually have no idea what the fuck we’re doing with dance music. Things have turned out well because I think people can see the messiness of it, and see that in the live show as well. It’s kind of punk-y,” said Planet.
