Ariana Grande has responded to a troll who accused her of “milking” her ex-partner Mac Miller’s death when she posted a memory of the couple on her Twitter page.
Grande shared a fan’s Twitter post calling Miller “an angel”, which linked to a 2017 Instagram post from Grande’s page of the couple together.

The post led to Twitter user VicVonDoom claiming: “She milking this shit bruh”. Grande replied to him, saying: “I pray you never have to deal with anything like this ever and I’m sending you peace and love.”
Miller died on September 7 from an accidental drug overdose at his studio in New York, aged 26. He and Grande had dated for two years, before their break-up in May.

After responding to the troll, Grande wrote 10 minutes later: “Some of the shit I read on here makes me sick to my stomach. It scares me the way some people think and I don’t like this world a lot of the time. If only we could be more compassionate and gentle to one another. That’d be sick.”

Grande references Miller in her new single ‘Thank U, Next’, which has reached No 1. She sings: “Wish I could say thank you to Malcolm, ’cause he was an angel”.
‘Thank U, Next’ is also the title of Grande’s next album, though a release date has yet to be confirmed. Grande has said there will be no guests on the album, which will also include a song called ‘Needy’. The album will follow ‘Sweetener’, which was released in August.
