Foo Fighters have confirmed details of two shows in Ireland next year – only days before Reading and Leeds festival kicks off.
The rock titans will play Belfast’s Vital Festival on August 19, before heading to Dublin for a show at the RDS Arena on August 21. Tickets will go on sale from 10am on Friday 23 November and you can buy them here,
Although Foo Fighters are yet to announce any UK dates for 2019, the Irish shows come less than five days before Reading & Leeds kicks off. It means that a short trip across the Irish sea for their first headline set at the festivals since 2012 doesn’t seem entirely out of the question.

The Irish dates come after the band previously announced that they will play Germany’s Hurricane Festival in 2019, alongside a line-up that also includes The Cure.
Meanwhile, Foo Fighters recently revealed that they plan to “take a break” before formulating ideas for their follow-up to 2017’s ‘Concrete & Gold’.
“It’s a challenge, you know? You kind of set these goals for yourself, to see if you can do it again, even when you’re crawling to the finish line you know that it’s there,” Dave Grohl told Billboard. “So here we are at the last set of shows we’ve been on for a year and a half and I’m ready to take a break but I’m ready to do it again at some point.”
