Riz Ahmed wants Eminem to record a diss track about him

"That's when you know you're important, you've made it."

Riz Ahmed has expressed his desire to have Eminem write a diss track about him, admitting that it’s one of his career goals.

Eminem infamously entered into a very public feud with fellow rapper Machine Gun Kelly back in September, with the former penning the diss track ‘Killshot’ at the height of their beef.

Ahmed – who raps under the name Riz MC in Swet Shop Boys – has now spoken about his admiration for Eminem in a new interview with Pitchfork for their ‘Over/Under’ series.

“Eminem in 2018 is underrated, man,” the Star Wars: Rogue One and Four Lions actor replied when asked for his take on the 46-year-old. “He’s still one of the greatest of all time, you can’t take that away from him.”

“I’m glad to see [Eminem] back out there just getting angry with people,” he continued, presumably in reference to the MGK beef.

“My goal is for Eminem to do a diss track about me. That’s when you know you’re important, you’ve made it. So Eminem man, there’s a lot of ammo here. I’m wearing a stupid hat here. You know, just get at me man.”

This isn’t the first time that Ahmed has publicly professed his love for Eminem. Back in October, Ahmed spoke about the rapper during an interview with James Corden, telling the talk show host about the time he accidentally recorded an Eminem TV appearance over his parents’ wedding video.
