Blink-182’s Tom DeLonge won’t rejoin the band after Travis Barker dropped cryptic reunion hint

We can but dream...

It seems that Tom DeLonge definitely won’t be reuniting with Blink-182, after drummer Travis Barker dropped a cryptic hint about his return to the pop punk icons.

On Thursday (October 18), Barker shared a photo of DeLonge’s face alongside the caption “Where Are Youuuuu” – a lyric taken directly from 2004’s ‘I Miss You’.

DeLonge then responded to the tweet with the lyric “I am the voice inside your yeeeeaaaad”, sparking speculation that he could return once more after leaving the band in 2015.

However, it’s now claimed that this shouldn’t be taken as potential evidence of a reunion – it’s more a reflection of DeLonge and Barker’s enduring friendship.

According to TMZ, “Travis and Tom were just trolling each other, and they don’t wanna mislead their fans, who were all just unsuspecting victims for a few hours”.

Meanwhile, it was reported earlier this week that DeLonge’s company, which focuses on studying alien life, is $37.4 million dollars in debt.

According to Arts Technica, a biannual report to the Securities and Exchange Commission reveals that DeLonge’s ‘To The Stars Academy Of Arts And Sciences’ faces huge financial problems.

The report says: “The Company has incurred losses from operations and has an accumulated deficit at June 30, 2018 of $37,432,000. These factors raise doubt about the Company’s ability to continue as a going concern.”

As for Blink 182, they are expected to return to Las Vegas to complete a residency this year, after Travis Barker’s ongoing medical issues initially forced them to be postponed.
