Joe Budden denies running away from Offset after Cardi B diss, he just needed to pee

“I don’t know why I still think I’m the guy that can hold a piss"

Joe Budden has denied that he ran away from Migos star Offset, after he seemingly dissed his wife Cardi B on a recent podcast.

On The Joe Budden Podcast, the host recently referenced the recent assault charges that were brought against Cardi B after an incident at a New York strip club.

“With Cardi, when you Instasnap an emoji, what are you telling the fans and the police,” Budden asked after the ‘Bodak Yellow’ star shared a post featuring two rat emojis.

But things reportedly took an unexpected turn after Budden bumped into Offset in a branch of US book store Barnes & Noble. According to Offset, the rapper ran away upon noticing him.

However, Budden says that there is a much more logical explanation.

“I don’t know why I still think I’m the guy that can hold a piss,” Budden explained on his podcast.

“He saw me, I didn’t see him.”

Far from dissing Cardi B, he also insists that he merely wants the rapper to avoid jail time.

“I don’t know why Offset is upset ’cause I’m a Cardi fan,” he admitted in the most recent episode of his podcast.

“I love Cardi I’m not about to beef with a nigga over his wife that I love. I thought that was our common ground [laughs]. I was saying Cardi was too big a superstar to behave that way ’cause people have it out for her period.”

He added: “She is great and amazing and I want her to continue to be here. I don’t want to lose her to police, to jail, to hatin’ bitches. New York is rocking right now, and Cardi’s a big part of that.”

Meanwhile, Budden recently explained why he won’t be coming out of retirement to record new rap once more..
