Last week (September 22), the band performed a stripped-back performance of ‘A Certain Romance’ during the final show of their hometown stint in Sheffield.

‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’, the band’s sixth studio album, was released in May. In a four-star review, NME described the record as “a product of searingly intelligent design”.

The divisive LP was nominated for this year’s Mercury Prize, which was won by Wolf Alice. Arctic Monkeys bagged the award in 2006 for their debut.
