Watch Nine Inch Nails perform ‘The Perfect Drug’ for the first time ever

This is pretty special....

Nine Inch Nails have played ‘The Perfect Drug’ for the first time ever at a show in Colorado.

Footage posted on YouTube shows the band performing the 1997 track for the first time during a show at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

It featured on the soundtrack to David Lynch’s movie Lost Highway, but the performance marks the first time the band has played the song in front of a live crowd.

It was also recently confirmed that Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have recorded the score for Jonah Hill’s forthcoming directorial debut, Mid90s.

The film is set for release in October, and tells the story of  Stevie (Sunny Suljic) a 13-year-old boy in 1990s LA who forms a deep friendship with a group of skaters as he attempts to escape his tumultuous home life and an abusive older brother.
