Blink-182 have released a ska version of a 2016 track to celebrate Blink-182 day.
Fans of the Californian punk trio celebrate the band on the 182nd day of the year, which, in 2018, fell on July 1.
The band have marked the latest Blink-182 day with a ska reworking of ‘Can’t Get You More Pregnant’, which featured on their last studio album, ‘California‘. “Blink-182 day is here!” they wrote on Twitter. “And in celebration, we present to you the party mix of that timeless summertime hit, “Can’t Get You More Pregnant.”

Meanwhile, the band’s Mark Hoppus recently shared details of a plan he once came up with to capture Saddam Hussein. Asked by a fan to share the “least plausible story about [him]self that’s true”, he revealed he had once told a Navy Admiral of his idea.
“At the time, Hussein was in hiding but continued releasing videotaped messages to his followers,” he wrote. “My idea was to have trucks with big speakers drive around BLASTING time code just out of the frequency range of human hearing, but within the dynamic range of the video camera’s microphone.

“When Saddam released a tape, he would have inadvertently recorded the time code. Using the time code, you could go back and pinpoint a general radius from where the truck was.”
Blink-182 were recently forced to cancel more shows due to Travis Barker’s ongoing health problems. The band said in a statement he had been ordered not to perform until the beginning of July when the situation would be re-evaluated.
