Watch Miles Kane and Jamie T play new song ‘Too Little Too Late’ at intimate London show

Jamie T collaborated with Kane on the latter's upcoming new solo album 'Coup De Grace'

Miles Kane was joined by Jamie T at his intimate London show earlier tonight (May 29).

The pair have collaborated on Kane’s upcoming solo album ‘Coup De Grace’, with Jamie T – whose real name is Treays – co-writing some of the songs on the record.

Kane performed at the 300-capacity Moth Club in Hackney tonight and yesterday (May 28) as part of his small venues tour previewing the new album. During tonight’s show, Treays joined him on guitar and vocals to play the Liverpool musician’s new track ‘Too Little Too Late’. The Mighty Boosh‘s Noel Fielding was reportedly seen watching the show. ‘Coup De Grace’ is due for release later this summer. One single has been released from it so far in ‘Loaded’, which was written by Kane, Treays, and Lana Del Rey.

Kane recently explained why he “ditched” the rest of the songs Del Rey worked on for the record. “I wanted the new album to be wild, very lively,” he said. “Some of the songs I wrote were slow ballads – they were quite John Lennon-y. That includes other songs I wrote with Lana. I’m still proud of the songs, but they didn’t work for this album.”

He also added that he would “definitely want” to work with Treays more in the future, adding that the pair might reunite to write together for Treays’ own next record.
