Lily Allen shares photo of her vagina, jokingly uses it as new album promo

"3 HUMANS CAME OUT OF THERE" she wrote

Lily Allen has shared a photo of her vagina on Twitter, after another user tweeted her the picture earlier this year.

Quoting the tweet, Allen wrote: “LOOK AT MY 2014 NEATLY TRIMMED VAGINA, 3 HUMANS CAME OUT OF THERE,” before adding details of her new album, “#NoShame June 8th”

She followed it up with another vagina pic, which another user had captioned ‘Growler Alert’. “AND ANOTHER ONE,” she wrote, before adding “#NoShame June” along with a pre-order link. You can see the tweets below.

‘No Shame’ is Allen’s first new music since her 2014 album ‘Sheezus’. Ahead of its release, Allen has shared three tracks – ‘Trigger Bang’, ‘Higher’ and ‘Three’.

Asked how much of ‘No Shame’ is inspired by the making of ‘Sheezus’, Allen replied: “The whole thing.”

“I think that the idea going into ‘Sheezus’ was really well-intentioned,” she continued. “I think I was suffering from postnatal depression when I started writing it, and I think I was having an identity crisis, that I did not know I was a new mum.

“I felt like I needed to be a pop star to pay my bills, and I didn’t feel like that, so I did what I thought pop stars should do, and it was very wrong.”

Allen added that she doesn’t think the musical content of ‘Sheezus’ is “that bad”, but regrets some of the artistic decisions made during its surrounding campaign.
