Rita Ora, Cardi B, Charli XCX and Bebe Rexha are teaming up for a massive new single called ‘Girls’

Coming next week

It has been announced that Rita Ora is releasing a new single with Cardi B, Charli XCX and Bebe Rexha.

‘Girls’ will be released next Friday (May 11). “I’m so happy to finally announce my new single GIRLS feat some amazing powerful women who have inspired me so much!”, Ora wrote on Twitter.

It’s not the first time Rita Ora and Charli XCX have teamed up, with the pair collaborating previously on ‘Doing It’ in 2015 and Ora appearing on a remix of Charli’s ‘After The Afterparty’ the following year.

Ora’s long-delayed second album has been pushed back to the autumn. It will follow on from her 2012 debut.

Charli herself hasn’t released an album since 2014’s ‘Sucker’, but dropped two mixtapes last year in the form of ‘Number 1 Angel’ and ‘Pop 2’.

It has been announced that Charli XCX will support Taylor Swift in the UK this June for the latter’s ‘Reputation’ tour. Camila Cabello will also appear on the dates. The UK and Ireland leg of Swift’s tour kicks off in Manchester on June 8.

Back in March, Charli XCX shared a playlist to celebrate Women’s History Month. It featured women she has “worked with, written with, collaborated with, and is inspired by” – with the likes of Dua LipaSigridCardi BSophie,  and more being included.

“Women are bold,” Charli wrote on Twitter at the time. “Women are inspiring. Women are beautiful. Women are determined. Women are powerful. Women come through struggle. Women support other women. Women are motherfucking superstars, no matter how old, what size, or where they’re from.”
