Kanye West has released another new track, debuting ‘Ye vs. the People’ on Power 106 FM.

The rapper sparked controversy recently due to tweets declaring that he “loves” Donald Trump and hitting out at Barack Obama, as well as sharing photos of himself wearing a Make America Great Again hat.

The new track, which features T.I., focuses on police brutality, president Trump, Obama, and also mentions “the sunken place” from the Jordan Peele movie, Get Out.

While the song isn’t officially released, the radio station played it on loop. You can listen to it here.

Yesterday (April 27), West released another new track, ‘Lift Yourself’.

According to TMZ, West invited the gossip site’s boss Harvey Levin to his offices to share new music he’d been working on with him. As well as previewing bits from the albums he has produced for Nas, Pusha T, and Teyana Taylor, the star also “freestyled” on video.

“Hopped off the Amistad and made ‘I’m A God’/It’s always a lituation when I’m involved,” he rapped, while wearing a Make America Great Again hat. “See, I say what they say when the mic is off/Parents are the strippers/Strip kids of their confidence/Teach white dominance/Question your common sense.” Watch footage of the moment below.

West has been roundly criticised by the music world for his recent comments online. Macy Gray shared a photo of herself wearing a red hat emblazoned with the words Make Kanye Great Again, while Moby asked the rapper not to “debase” himself “by being a Trump supporter”.

The star has found some support from Chance The Rapper, however, who spoke out in a series of tweets. “He’s in a great space and not affected by folk tryna question his mental or physical health,” he wrote. “Same Ye from the Vmas, same Ye from the telethon.”
