What do these cryptic Thom Yorke tweets mean?

Is the Radiohead frontman teasing new solo music?

Thom Yorke appears to be teasing something with a series of cryptic tweets. Scroll below to see those in full.

The Radiohead frontman last released a solo album in 2014 with ‘Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes’, which was surprise-released with little warning via BitTorrent.

It is known that Yorke has been working on new solo music recently, having debuted a number of new tracks earlier this year. Those included songs called ‘I Am A Rude Person’, ‘Saturdays’, and  ‘Two Feet Off The Ground’.

He has now taken to Twitter to post a series of vague message. One reads simply: “disinformation”. Another: “do you see his smile?”.

“Putting rocks in our hearts,” Yorke writes in a tweet sent earlier today. He also posted what appears to be artwork from longtime collaborator Stanley Donwood.

NME has approached representatives of Thom Yorke for further comment.

Yorke recently provided music for new short film Why Can’t We Get Along.

While Radiohead are gearing up for a 2018 world tour, the band are also in the midst of a complicated legal battle with Lana Del Rey.

Radiohead recently announced details of a North American tour. The band will head to the US and Canada from July through to August.

They will kick off the stint at Chicago’s United Center on July 7, finishing up at the Well Fargo Center in Philadelphia on August 1.

Other dates include shows in New York, Montreal, Toronto, Detroit, Columbus, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Boston.
