German industrial metallers Rammstein have won a lawsuit for copyright infringement against Apocalyptica's record company, Sony Music Entertainment GmbH.The case, which was heard at the Regional Court Of Berlin last month, was brought against Sony Music's after the label's now defunct subsidiary, Gun Records, claimed in marketing literature that Apocalyptica's 2007 album, Worlds Collide, featured Rammstein when it in fact it just featured Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann.Sony Music were ordered to pay Rammstein €45,000 (approximately £37,000) in damages. That's a lot of cash for a typo! The verdict comes as a double blow for the Finnish instrumentalists who have been forced to re-record their new single Not Strong Enough, which featured Shinedown frontman Brent Smith, after Smith's record company refused to give Apocalyptica clearance to use his vocals. Hoobastank frontman Doug Robb will instead take his place.
