Influential British rockers Led Zeppelin have been immortalised in stamp form.The stamp, which goes into circulation today, is part of the Royal Mail’s collection of 10 stamps depicting classic British album covers."Almost 40 years after the album came out, nobody knows the old man who featured on the cover, nor the artist who painted him," Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page told the BBC. "That sort of sums up what we wanted to achieve with the album cover, which has remained both anonymous and enigmatic at the same time," he added.Other stamps include David Bowie’s The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars, Pink Floyd’s The Division Bell, The Rolling Stones’ Let It Bleed and The Clash’s London Calling.Click here to see the full set.
