Mike Miko are a fun live band, so they wisely made a fun live video for We Be Xuxa's "I Got A Lot (New New New)." Speaking of which: Much of the current DIY or lo-fi or "shitgaze" (or whatever) crop is peddling something downcast ("thoughtful") a la Blank Dogs and Dum Dum Girls and the cross-breeding Mayfair Set, Crystal Stilts, Vivian Girls, and post-implosion Wavves, etc., so it's good to sit back and see folks with smiles on their faces. Simplistic thinking, maybe, but refreshing even if you do dig all the aforementioned.
