Flying Lotus will release his new 27-track album, Flamagra, later this month. The LP will be his first in almost five years, following 2014's You're Dead!. So far, we've heard "Fire Is Coming," "Spontaneous," "Takashi," and, most recently, "More" featuring Anderson .Paak. Today, FlyLo shares the Shinichiro Watanabe-directed music video for his latest track.

Flying Lotus joined Gilles Peterson on his BBC Radio 6 Music show yesterday to pay tribute to Ras G. The late LA producer co-founded Poo-Bah Records and was associated with FlyLo's Brainfeeder. He died last Monday at the age of 40. On yesterday's episode, Flying Lotus played a new song called "Black Heaven."

In 2012, Steven Ellison, bka Flying Lotus, properly introduced his rapping alter ego Captain Murphy on a mixtape called Duality. If he were to continue that theme and reintroduce himself as the many-headed beast he's become on Flamagra, then a more fitting title for the album would be Multiplicity.
