Katy Perry has tackled a lot of things in her four short years in the business: She's had two successful albums, an unsuccessful marriage to Russell Brand and she's about to hit the big screen with her 3D concert movie "Part of Me." Now, the colorful singer is planning to tackle the behind-the-scenes part of the music industry by creating her own record label, likely under the EMI/Capitol Records umbrella. Perry's "ET" duet partner Kanye West launched his record label, G.O.O.D. Music in 2004. Rapper Common was also under the G.O.O.D. umbrella until 2010.
