The two American pop icons and the Scottish DJ are behind a new comedy series that has been picked up for development by HBO, Deadline.com reports. "Higher," a comedy series set in the electronic music industry, will be written by "Trainspotting" author Irvine Welsh with help from DJ Calvin Harris. Due in theaters in late 2014, the musical film will be directed by Will Gluck and will feature Rose Byrne, Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx.
