The hills were live with NBC's ambitious production of "The Sound of Music Live!" The 3-hour production was based on the musical, and not the classic film starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer. "It's only natural that viewers compare the 2013 TV production to the beloved film ... but this was a different animal," wrote The Hollywood Reporter's Fred Bronson.
